Data Migration

Data migration is the transfer of data from one system to another.  Typically this is required with the implementation of a new system that needs to be populated with data from a legacy system.  It is a critical process because it will affect the quality of information produced by the new system.  We make use of electronic tools to manipulate the legacy system data into the appropriate format for the new system.  The data is then also verified for accuracy and ultimately transferred to the new system.

Data Mining

This is the process of extracting relevant information from large amounts of data.  Data mining is performed with the use of powerful database tools.

Data Manipulation

Sometimes a client has the need to adjust a large set of data according to specified criteria.  The data can be updated, changed or relevant records deleted through the use of electronic tools.

Data Analysis

This is the process of extracting relevant data from databases and converting it into useful information. Data analysis is performed with the use of powerful database tools.

Data Audit

Data audits involves interrogating the integrity, completeness, validity and accuracy of data in a database/system.  It can also extend to the audit of system implementations and the use of controls and validation rules.
